"The wolves are the most basic of creatures, loyal to a fault... like a good hound really."

[edit] Phyrran Mountain Wolf
|
| +1 Speed |
| Requires Level 5 |

"A rare species of Tiranas that inhabits the desolate mountains of southern Phyrras. A solitary wolf--unlike its Felshian cousin--it is a master of stealth. With excellent speed and powerful jaws, the Mountain Wolf is a masterful hunter--and a fierce opponent when confronted by an enemy (of which, outside of humans, it has few)."

[edit] Felshian Tiger Wolf
|
| +2 Speed |
| +1 Resist |
| Requires Level 5 |
| Cost: |
"Once freely roaming the great plains and highland forests of eastern Felsha, the uniquely striped Tiger Wolf has now been relegated to a small region bordering the southern coast. One of the largest members of the Tirana family, Tiger Wolves are extremely social--pack life and domination is a major part of its instinctive makeup--and are superb tactical hunters. Domesticated variations have been bred for war and guardian duty."

[edit] Dess River Wolf
|
| +3 Speed |
| +2 Resist |
| Requires Level 5 |
| Cost: |
"Among the rising lands of the upper Dess River , there lives a species of Tiranas that has adapted well to the crowding of its range by both humans and orcs. The Dess River Wolf, also known as the Red Tide Wolf since the orcs of that region have used them as scouts, is a wiley and intelligent example of species survival. Though like with most wolves, domestication is tricky, but once accomplished, the Dess River Wolf has proven to be extremely loyal."

[edit] Vistav Twilight Wolf
|
| +4 Speed |
| +2 Resist |
| Requires Level 5 |
| Cost: |
"Of all the wolves in the lands, the Vistav Twilight Wolf is the most elusive and mysterious. As its name imparts, it is a creature of half-light, of shadows and moonlit spaces. Legend has it that Lord Draeth used them as sentries and long-ranging scouts during the Demon Wars. Though not much is known about these Tiranas, they do have the reputation of being man-killers, as evidenced by an historical killing spree that devastated the north Machan border province of Nolden during the First Kingdom."
