[edit] Skills
Skills are what make your character different and stronger than other characters. They represent the individual areas of practical and special knowledge possessed by your character. Skills are in addition to the base abilities of your character, and define who you are and what you can become. In order to utilize these skills, use the "Skills" tab in the lower left-side of the screen.
Ensure you have planned your skill progression fully, as it is costly to rectify.
Remember, you only have 41 skill points(from level 4 to 45), so spend them wisely. You only get one per level and you don't need to use them right away.
In order to progress to the next tier (row) of skills you must allocate 5 skill points to the current tier. These skill points do not need to be in the same skill. Combinations of skills will provide substantial and evolving opportunities to create new strategies – especially when combined with equipment. Skills are introduced after level 5 when you must choose a Path, and include mostly Passive effects. Once you move to a High Path at level 20, all skills are Openers (Eg., you can use only 1 during each battle.) These are picked from the choose loadout page before the duel commences. You can, however, still train skills from the base set when a High path has been chosen.
