Path of the Sword
Path of the Sword specializes in melee fighting. There are no magical staffs or wands skills, rather only swords, shields, daggers, maces and armor. Generally duellists following this path should invest attribute points into Stamina, Strength, Resist, Perception and Speed. The Intelligent Is For The Path Of The Staff Only.

[edit] Dual Wield - Shields
Extensive training has given you the ability to wield a weapon in each hand, if with some difficulty.
- Enables the use of a weapon or shield in the off-hand slot. Any weapon in the off-hand carries a penalty of -25% to hit and -25% to damage (see Ambidexterity).

- Subtracts 5% from Power cost, Adds 2% to weapon damage, Adds 1% to Critical chance
- Subtracts 10% from Power cost, Adds 4% to weapon damage, Adds 2% to Critical chance
- Subtracts 15% from Power cost, Adds 6% to weapon damage, Adds 3% to Critical chance
- Subtracts 20% from Power cost, Adds 8% to weapon damage, Adds 4% to Critical chance
- Subtracts 25% from Power cost, Adds 10% to weapon damage, Adds 5% to Critical chance

Edged Weapons include Axes and Swords
Edged Weapons Specialization:
- Reduces the power cost of axes and swords by 5%.
- Reduces the power cost of axes and swords by 10%. Increases your chance to Hit by 2% when using them.
- Reduces the power cost of axes and swords by 15%. Increases your chance to Hit by 4% and your Damage by 5% when using them.
- Reduces the power cost of axes and swords by 20%. Increases your chance to Hit by 6% and your Damage by 10% when using them.
- Reduces the power cost of axes and swords by 25%. Increases your chance to Hit by 8%, your Damage by 15%, and your chance to critical by 1% when using them.

Blunt Weapons Specialization:
- Subtracts 5% from Power cost, Adds 1% to chance to hit
- Subtracts 10% from Power cost, Adds 2% to chance to hit, Adds 5% to weapon damage
- Subtracts 15% from Power cost, Adds 4% to chance to hit, Adds 10% to weapon damage
- Subtracts 20% from Power cost, Adds 6% to chance to hit, Adds 15% to weapon damage
- Subtracts 25% from Power cost, Adds 8% to chance to hit, Adds 20% to weapon damage

Your off-hand has become nearly as potent as your main.

Requires Dual Wield/Shields
- Increases your chance to hit with your off-hand by 5%; also increases off-hand damage by 5%. Increases damage of all attacks by 1% and grants an additional attack once every 8 turns with your off-hand.
- Increases your chance to hit with your off-hand by 10%; also increases off-hand damage by 10%. Increases damage of all attacks by 2% and grants an additional attack once every 7 turns with your off-hand.
- Increases your chance to hit with your off-hand by 15%; also increases off-hand damage by 15%. Increases damage of all attacks by 3% and grants an additional attack once every 6 turns with your off-hand.
- Increases your chance to hit with your off-hand by 20%; also increases off-hand damage by 20%. Increases damage of all attacks by 4% and grants an additional attack once every 5 turns with your off-hand.
- Increases your chance to hit with your off-hand by 25%; also increases off-hand damage by 25%. Increases damage of all attacks by 5% and grants an additional attack once every 4 turns with your off-hand.
- With Dual Wield and max Ambidexterity, there is no off-hand penalty to hit or damage.

- Reduces the Power cost of all armor items by 5.5%.
- Reduces the Power cost of all armor items by 11%.
- Reduces the Power cost of all armor items by 16.5%.
- Reduces the Power cost of all armor items by 22%.
- Reduces the Power cost of all armor items by 27.5%.

Speed, power, and accuracy all play critical parts in any weapon's use.

- Substract 1% from your opponent's Absorb and 2% from their Dodge.
- Substract 2% from your opponent's Absorb and 4% from their Dodge.
- Substract 3% from your opponent's Absorb and 6% from their Dodge.
- Substract 4% from your opponent's Absorb and 8% from their Dodge.
- Substract 5% from your opponent's Absorb and 10% from their Dodge.

- Adds 1% to your Resistance and Dodge and increases the Dodge and Resist bonuses of your equipped items by 3%.
- Adds 2% to your Resistance and Dodge and increases the Dodge and Resist bonuses of your equipped items by 6%.
- Adds 3% to your Resistance and Dodge and increases the Dodge and Resist bonuses of your equipped items by 9%.
- Adds 4% to your Resistance and Dodge and increases the Dodge and Resist bonuses of your equipped items by 12%.
- Adds 5% to your Resistance and Dodge and increases the Dodge and Resist bonuses of your equipped items by 15%.

You slam your shield into your opponent, knocking them back.
- Reduces wand damage taken by a percent equal to shield power divided by 95. Each time your opponent successfully hits you, you gain a cumulative +2% block chance for the remainder of the round.
- Reduces wand damage taken by a percent equal to shield power divided by 47. Each time your opponent successfully hits you, you gain a cumulative +4% block chance for the remainder of the round.
- Reduces wand damage taken by a percent equal to shield power divided by 34. Each time your opponent successfully hits you, you gain a cumulative +6% block chance for the remainder of the round.
- Reduces wand damage taken by a percent equal to shield power divided by 26. Each time your opponent successfully hits you, you gain a cumulative +8% block chance for the remainder of the round.
- Reduces wand damage taken by a percent equal to shield power divided by 21. Each time your opponent successfully hits you, you gain a cumulative +10% block chance for the remainder of the round.

- Grants one additional melee attack every 6 Turns.
- Grants one additional melee attack every 5 Turns.
- Grants one additional melee attack every 4 Turns.

- Increases Stamina by 8%, If Stamina is greater than 200: Add 25% of Stamina to Strength in damage calculations
- Increases Stamina by 15%, If Stamina is greater than 200: Add 25% of Stamina to Strength in damage calculations.
- Increases Stamina by 25%, If Stamina is greater than 200: Add 25% of Stamina to Strength in damage calculations

As a starting player it is a good idea to look through all the weapons and choose which one you would like to focus on. This helps with extra damage at later levels with the right skills. Note that Power Reductions on your weapons are taken automatically on your Loadout screen, the Power you view for your items there takes into account these specializations.
