Image:BasicPack03.jpg A pack is a combination of equipment items (weapons, armor and Scrolls) that are distributed in a random way based on a defined rarity system. When you open a Pack you never know what you will get – you could get the rarest item in the game or a simple sword.

Contents

[edit] Typical Pack Contents

  1. Piece of Equipment (randomly assigned)
  2. Two Scrolls (randomly assigned)
  3. A small amount of Gold (randomly generated in a range of 1-5)

[edit] Ways to Acquire Packs

All packs are associated with specific Sets; this determines what items might be in the pack.

  • Note: You can view the probability of acquiring items of specific rarity by clicking the pack hyperlink. The rarer the item acquired, the greater its general level and power requirements, but also its sale price.

[edit] Theme Packs and Set Packs

Some packs are limited edition. For example, the Yumeria Rising pack would be a theme pack. Its items are limited edition, and most likely will never be released again now that the packs are sold out. Either that, or there will be hindrances, such as more power or less attack damage. Also, there are set packs, such as the original Duels Core, and the more subsequent editions, up to the current Duels Core 6. In each set there are new items, but there are also some old items from previous Set packs, but usually, there are hindrances, such as less stat gain or more Power required, or it may just be rarer.

[edit] Available Sets

Currently the following packs are available for purchase:

[edit] Sold Out Sets

The following packs are SOLD OUT and are no longer available. They will not be reissued. However, items from these sets may appear in later sets. If they reappear, they may be identical or substantially modified.

[edit] Which Pack Should I Buy?

If you do not know which packs to purchase with your tokens you should probably purchase the current Duels Core set. They are far cheaper than the others. You will get the same amount of gold and scrolls as the more expensive packs. The reason the expensive packs are pricier is that they offer a greater chance of pulling the rarest items. However, until you are reliably pulling in hundreds of tokens a day, it it better to go for the better overall value of the Duels Core sets, and sets like Corruption and Nightmare when the tokens start flowing.

[edit] True Rarity

Each set of items is released in a certain number of packs with a mix of items of different rarities. By knowing how many of each item is available, you can make a better judgment as to the proper value of an item. An exception to this rule is the Apprentice and Challenger sets, which are unlimited.

The numbers in the table is the percentages based on rarity. If, suppose there is a 0.5, then there is a 0.5 out of 100 or 1 out of 200 chance that you can get that item. If it's 50, then there's a 50 out of 100 or 1 out of 2 chance to pull that item from the pack set.
