In a dark section of Beggar's Row, you find a torn, hastily scrawled poster stuck to the side of an outdoor stall hawking stankham and emerald eggs.

KING DAWN PRESENTS ULTIMATE PET FIGHTS

From around the world and across the vast planes of space and time, The King has assembled a vicious collection of Jousting Jackals, Fighting Felines and Brutal Bears!

You approach the alley and are greeted by darkness and the sick-sweet stink of rotting food. The occasional flash from the distant Hall of Gates illuminates your surroundings, casting phosphorous light on things that you wish it wouldn't.

King Dawn steps out of the darkness and lights a small torch. His face and ample belly are hatched with scratch marks and his arm is in a sling. He smiles through two broken teeth.

"The King apologizes for his appearance. His highness is attempting to train his own Spliceweasel for combat and things... could be going better."
