Effects are the result of using Skills, Wands, or weapons. Buff, Healing, and Poison are all examples of Effects. Some Skills may have multiple Effects, depending upon other factors, such as Duration or School.
Effects come in many flavors -- some to help you by Buffing your Attributes or Stats. Some hinder your enemy and others do stranger things still.
Effects can sometimes also be Prerequisites.
