There was once a great battle between a dark elf and a warrior that took place on a bridge over the River of Tombius.

Julnish, the warrior, had been intermittently battling Reyu, the dark elf, for an untold number of years.

Stories suggest they gave lethal blows to each other at the same exact moment in time. Some claim they have seen their souls still battling each other by the bridge in perpetuity. But no one knows why this timeless feud ever started.

Years later, purports one village mystic, an old mage named Clavinon saw their ghostly countenances, grunted irritatedly, banished their souls, and brought their bodies back to life. Then Clavinon took Julnish and Reyu's hearts out and switched them! But even that failed to put an end to their grudge!
