Inside the garrison of the Elemental Allies, deep below the Green Scene Tavern, Doctor Fizroy is staring into an esoteric array of tubes and beakers. The accumulation is topped by a glass jar; the parasite that you retrieved floating in a bubbling yellow fluid.
"This is it." Fizroy strokes his mustache and staring at the fluid as it makes its long journey through the tubes, to another bottle. He closes the tap, seals the bottle and looks at you with a wide grin.
"We got those wormy-germy basta-"
Fizroy's expletive is cut off by a scream and the arrival of a swarm of infected humanoids. With a roar, the Elementals and Allies around you spring into action.

The corrupted members of the Singlemind crash over the room like a foul wave. They attack in silence, until all at once, and without emotion they speak.
"Twenty minutes until complete mutation."
Fizroy grabs the jar containing the vaccine. "I'm no expert on these things... well I guess... I kind of am... either way, that does not sound, what we call in the medical profession, 'good'.'"
As Fizroy takes the vaccine deeper into the recess of the cave, you draw your weapon.

"Five minutes until complete mutation."
The mass of infected have taken most of the room. You turn and see Fizroy, vaccine in hand, scrambling away from a lone corrupted assailant and move to assist.
"Four minutes until complete mutation."
As you move closer, you hear a voice in your head. That same mad intelligence.
"Hey now. Why don't you think about what you are about to do. As you have no doubt heard, there are about to be some changes around here. This isn't going to be the same old Singlemind. We are going to win this, whether you save that vaccine or not. "
"Three minutes until complete mutation."
"The only difference is going to be: which side you are on. We're almost here, and when we arrive, there isn't going to be any more of this silly assimilation. The world, and everything in it that isn't us, is going to burn. You have one final chance to pick the winning team. What do you say?"
"One minute until complete mutation."
You have one last opportunity to choose. With the mutation and the vaccine, you will no longer be able to convert. Will you join this new Singlemind for good, or help your companions, declaring permanent allegiance to the Elemental Allies?
