English: Your Attack Rating is based on your Skills, Item Attack, and your Perception, Strength, and Speed attributes. The better your Attack Rating, the more damage you can inflict on your opponent and the better chance you have to land the actual attack.
The actual damage you deal is also dependent on your weapon's attack rating.
