Precise Strike / Shadow Meld Build
This build is built around the Tier I opener Shadow Meld and the Tier III opener Precise Strikes. Both skills have synergy because they focus on the attributes Speed and Perception. By maximizing the Speed using Shadow Meld you can frustrate your opponent with a high Dodge rate. Allowing you to attack you opponent with Critical hits whilst you repeatedly Dodge their attacks. By maximizing Speed and Perception using Precise Strikes you can overwhelm your opponent with large Critical strikes which have their already high damage increased further. This build is rarely seen anymore.

[edit] Equip
It's important to note that this build isn't a particularly good "tank" build. You may want to purchase some Riot blades, or some other piece of equipment that can deliver a large Stamina boost. Estian tracker armguards are also a good choice, as they add +10 to Speed and Stamina, as well as +14 to Perception, all of which are helpful stats for the Assasin.
Other good choices Khronish Reaver Boots (+5% dodge) Sihlak (+5% dodge, +64 SPD)

Stinging Poison Build
[edit] Skills
| Path of the Sword | |
|---|---|
| Weapons of Stealth | 5/5 |
| Quickness | 5/5 |
| Armor | 5/5 |
| Fortitude | 5/5 |
| High Path of the Assassin | |

| Stinging Poison | 5/5 |
[edit] Attributes
The player should place their points in Perception and Speed to increase their Precision, which Stinging Poison is dependent on.
This basic build has two variations: The player can use either a shield or two weapons.
Shields -- requires specific low path of the sword skills Shields 1/1 Shield Mastery 5/5
This variation allows the player to have a higher armor value, which increases Absorb. Having high absorption will help against openers such as Talaks Transformation and Ambush, as well as reduce enemy weapon damage overall. As a Shieldsin ( As some call it) you may also want to consider 1 point in Shield Bash, that way you have the opportunity to bash an opponent for a set amount of damage, which occurs on every successful block. Also consider DeD which is very optional, but has its merits in which it reduces a person's highest stats which can be extremely helpful in the late game.
Dual Wield -- requires specific low path of the sword skills Dual Wield 1/1 Ambidexterity 5/5
This variation allows the player to achieve maximum poison levels, due to the increased number of hits on the enemy.
Both of these builds leave the player with ten Skill points remaining. These points can be put in a second and third opener or in the low path.

Note, that these are just suggestions, not all good choices are listed here.

- Stealth: Most of these give a good bonus to PER and SPD
- Blunt: Scepter of the Whispering Sea (clamstick), Estian Skullsmasher, Raa's Sunsmasher, Amarian Flanged Star
- Shields: Ahnu's Seven Jackals, The Maelstrom's Crest (for STA), The Great Turtle

Feint Build
[edit] Skills
| Path of the Sword | |
|---|---|
| Weapons of Stealth | 5/5 |
| Dual Wield | 1/1 |
| Defensive Power | 5/5 |
| Quickness | 5/5 |
| Armor | 5/5 |
| Fortitude | 5/5 |
| High Path of the Assassin | |
|---|---|
| Shadow Meld | 5/5 |
| Feint | 5/5 |
[edit] Attributes
| Feint | |
|---|---|
| Strength: | 0 |
| Speed: | 120 |
| Intelligence: | 0 |
| Perception: | 0 |
| Stamina: | 10 |
| Resist: | 0 |
People, the skill Feint has been affected by the new update and now does NOT damage the opponent after a dodge. Now if your attack misses your next attack has a 20%-100% (depending on lvl of opener) chance that it will hit causing damage equal to (speed+perception)/30 "this damage ignores absorb".
[edit] Equip
Note, that these are just suggestions, not all good choices are listed here. These are for +dodge% mostly, keep in mind that speed will help dodge and you will want a high precision. Look in the stinging poison equip section for precision helpers
- Stealth: Raa's Hope, The Queen of Hearts, Silent Sister, Sihlak, Nognilk Short Blade, Gut Fork, Claw of the Reaper, Night Bird Razor
- Edged: Sandwyrm Clawblade, Martyr Shepherd's Crook
- Blunt: Shrieking of Demons (blunt isn't a good idea for a dodge build)
- Shields: There are many
- Armor: Aanden Cape of Eluding, Blood Gate Mempo Kabuto, Khronish Reaver (boots, shinguards, belt)

Ambush Build

You want to go all out with Strength and half out with Stamina. Duel Wielding The Maelstrom's Fury or even having just one IN YOUR MAIN HAND is utterly destructive. This is one of the main parts to the build. You are going to want a decent amount of health with this build, because even though you may open with say a 1.5k-2k hit, you won't be hitting that again, but you will still deal a sick amount of damage.
