Precise Strike / Shadow Meld Build
This build is built around the Tier I opener Shadow Meld and the Tier III opener Precise Strikes. Both skills have good synergy because they focus on the attributes Speed and Perception. By maximizing the Speed using Shadow Meld you can frustrate your opponent with a high Dodge rate. Allowing you to attack you opponent with Critical hits whilst you repeatedly Dodge their attacks. By maximizing Speed and Perception using Precise Strikes you can overwhelm your opponent with large Critical strikes which have their already high damage increased further. This build is rarely seen anymore. Also this build is hard to use in the beginning because of low stamina.

| Blade Fury | 5/5 |
| Precise Strikes | 5/5 |
OR There's a very strange path you can also chose that works with a blunt weapon and a shield that will allow to use a lot of skills, allow you also to dodge, block and missed, and also give your avatar the benefits of replacing the dmg lack with the Blunt ability and making your avatar into somewhat of a tank with low life at first and lots of dodge and block percentage that will make your avatar almost impossible to hit:

| Armor | 5/5 |
| Fortitude | 5/5 |
| Defensive Power | 5/5 |
| High Path of the Assassin | |

| Shadow Meld | 5/5 |
This path will make you very strong against almost all the classes with a small exception against druids until you have items that give you extra spd, per and sta (you need the extra stamina to be able to resist againts the druids actions and openers that do a lot of dmg and after that you will have a better chance at defeating them)

[edit] Equip
It's important to note that this build isn't a particularly good "tank" build. You may want to purchase some Riot blades, or some other piece of equipment that can deliver a large Stamina boost. Estian tracker armguards are also a good choice, as they add +10 to Speed and Stamina, as well as +14 to Perception, all of which are helpful stats for the Assasin.
Or for the blunt weapon + shield choice you can use:
- Blunt: Scepter of the Whispering Sea (clamstick), Estian Skullsmasher, Raa's Sunsmasher, Amarian Flanged Star
- Shields: Ahnu's Seven Jackals, The Maelstrom's Crest (for STA), The Great Turtle
Other good choices Khronish Reaver Boots (+5% dodge) Sihlak (+5% dodge, +64 SPD)
If you can, get the amarian gladiator armor set. They give speed, perception and stamina. You can get the whole set for around 2000g if you put up offers on the details page.

Stinging Poison Build
[edit] Skills
| Path of the Sword | |
|---|---|
| Weapons of Stealth | 5/5 |
| Quickness | 5/5 |
| Armor | 5/5 |
| Fortitude | 5/5 |
| High Path of the Assassin | |

| Stinging Poison | 5/5 |
[edit] Attributes
The player should place their points in Perception and Speed to increase their Precision, which Stinging Poison is dependent on.
This basic build has two variations: The player can use either a shield or two weapons.
Shields -- requires specific low path of the sword skills Dual Wield/Shields 1/1 Shield Mastery 5/5
This variation allows the player to have a higher armor value, which increases Absorb. Having high absorption will help against openers such as Talaks Transformation and Ambush, as well as reduce enemy weapon damage overall. Also consider DeD which is very optional, but has its merits in which it reduces a person's highest stats which can be extremely helpful in the late game.
Dual Wield -- requires specific low path of the sword skills Dual Wield/Shields 1/1 Ambidexterity 5/5
This variation allows the player to achieve maximum poison levels, due to the increased number of hits on the enemy.
Both of these builds leave the player with ten Skill points remaining. These points can be put in a second and third opener or in the low path.
NOTE: Another way of using duel wield is to use nooby weapons because their power is low. The point of stinging poison is to poison them, not kill them with high hits. So if you use 2 nooby weapons, you can then put on lots of armor and items that will protect you from high damage builds and also give you a high perception and speed.
[edit] Equip
Note, that these are just suggestions, not all good choices are listed here.
- Edged: Ancient Sandwyrm Horn, Ironlander Longblade, Aangeloran Knight Greatblade, River Cutter
- Stealth: Most of these give a good bonus to PER and SPD
- Blunt: Scepter of the Whispering Sea (clamstick), Estian Skullsmasher, Raa's Sunsmasher, Amarian Flanged Star
- Shields: Ahnu's Seven Jackals, The Maelstrom's Crest (for STA), The Great Turtle
- Other: Master Tracker, Shark Raider, Khronish Reaver, many others

Feint Build
[edit] Skills
| Path of the Sword | |
|---|---|
| Weapons of Stealth | 5/5 |
| Dual Wield | 1/1 |
| Defensive Power | 5/5 |
| Quickness | 5/5 |
| Armor | 5/5 |

| Apothecary | 5/5 |
| Feint | 5/5 |
[edit] Attributes
| Feint | |
|---|---|
| Strength: | 0 |
| Speed: | 70 |
| Intelligence: | 0 |
| Perception: | 70 |
| Stamina: | 0 |
| Resist: | 0 |
Feint 5/5 skill points - Whenever you do not hit your opponent (miss, dodged or blocked), your next attack has a 100% chance to automatically hit and ignores an amount of your opponent's Absorb equal to 5% of your (Speed + Perception).
Be aware that shield slam blocks and shadow meld can negate the auto-hit from Feint.
Feint is primarily useful against builds that attempt to keep you from hitting, like Slow (druids), Ambush (assassins), Low Stance (warriors), and all high dodge builds.
You will need to add some strength to your build in order to achieve good damage, but this can be obtained through gear. Keep your attribute points in speed and perception in order to get your apothecary high, and the absorb debuff from feint high.
[edit] Equip
Note, that these are just suggestions. Look for weapons with high damage ranges. Use armor with balanced str/spd/per. For all your items, look for high crit % bonuses.

Ambush Build
This build is built around the Tier III opener Ambush. You can actually use any Tier II you want, because you just need 5 points to get Ambush. When Using Ambush prepare for a slow, long but pretty stable fight.

[edit] Equip
Ambush relies on dodging your opponent, or making him miss in some way. Use high dodge equipment, but don't forget you need to be able to do some damage too, and think about geting some high resist loadout for mages and agains actions.
Try weapons such as Gortad's Boot Blade (8% Dodge, +65 Str +40 Stam) or Monos and Dextoros (10% Dodge, +75 Str).
Try using the cryptograph action with Ambush.
[edit] Apothecary Build
Apothecary is a Tier I Opener. Its is a great opener that allows you to heal 120% of your Speed and Perception the first 2 turns of the fight. It also increases your absorb for the first 3 turns, so you take minimal damage. This is a great build against Talak Mages, Insect Druids, and many others.

You want to keep your speed and perception even.
[edit] Equip
Equipment is a key role to becomeing an Apothecary Assassin. There are tons of weapons and armor for this. I'll start off with items for people with a Budget. First off start adventuring and get the Jade Dragon Breaches. Weapons; Blackwarder Kris is a great and cheap dagger that give you a lot of speed. You can counter it with Bloody Knuckle Rakes. You can get items like Silver Plate Fist. The Nerve Tickler, the Coercer. There are many others, you can search for them through the armory. Onto Armor, the Moonstalker is a great item for its bonuses and its power rating. Check the set out. Ok, people without a budget, heres some very good items to have. Tong Lo's Silent Dagger, Razans Bloodletter, Gloom Reaper Rags, Grand Sacrifical Crown, and Razans Dueling Garb.
[edit] "Full Apothecary" Build
Apothecary is a Tier I Opener. Its is a great opener that allows you to heal 120% of your Speed and Perception the first 2 turns of the fight. It also increases your absorb for the first 3 turns, so you take minimal damage. This is a great build against Talak Mages, Insect Druids, and many others. Being a full Apothecary User makes your opener much stronger but disables you to use other openers because you need to use all the attribute points in the skills to make this build.

You should only distribute your atribute points after finishing your main loadout so you can have speed and perception even. (It should be around 350speed, 350perception and 135 stamina for example).
