Legends > Armoury of the Northern Gods
Many pieces of weaponry and armor in the collection of the Armoury of the Northern God are not for sale. Too valuable, too rare, and too dangerous to be given price tags, these pieces are held privately by the armoury’s owners. It is rumored that Phyrran Archons have repeatedly offered incredible sums of money for some of them, but to no avail. These are some of the artifacts:

[edit] Flame Falcata
This tortuously curved sword, with its fironite-inlaid blade and glyph-encrusted cross-guard, was first swung in 183MP. The ancient sword was then lost for hundreds of years, turning up again far away in what is now Darias. Passed down through the generations in the Varne family, it now resides in Phyrra. As one of the oldest swords in existence, its magical properties are still being studied by mages today in an effort to unlock the secret of the falcata’s burning power.
[edit] Bradlyxur
Like other swords in legends and literature, Bradlyxur is readily available in cheap imitations. But the eldest owner of the Armoury of the Northern Gods holds the true blade. And it’s rarely shown to the public. Perhaps this is why many people, weapons experts and laymen alike, question the blade’s historicity. Nonetheless, those who have seen this Bradlyxur describe it as nothing less than one of the greatest works of art in the world.
[edit] Manticore's Takoba
The Manticore’s Takoba was once the weapon of a summoned monster so strong that it killed its summoner, leaving itself forever trapped in Makanis. The unstoppable beast roamed the wilds until it died of starvation—or, as some believe, killed itself. When it died, it left several otherworldly weapons in its place. Chief among them was the takoba, a sword so large only the heftiest of men could wield it.
[edit] Amaranthine Battershield
Runic inscriptions on the back of this famous shield boast of its infrangibility. Battletested through the ages, the shield is remarkable unscathed. There are some who would like to put the Battershield to the test today and end the mystery, if only they could persuade its owners to allow such an experiment.
[edit] Hilwynbolt
Hilwynbolt is argued to be the most powerful weapon of all. But was it once the weapon of the God Hilwyn? Historians agree on Hilwynbolt’s place in mythology: the hands of the gods. And those at the Amoury of the Northern Gods uphold its status as the deadliest weapon in existence. But proof is hard to come by. Hilwynbolt rests deep in the weapon cellars of the amoury, as it has for centuries. Several troupes of bandit, and even an army or two, have attempted to raid the Amoury of the Northern Gods. But something—be it arcane magic or divine protection—keeps the armoury’s possessions out of the wrong hands.
