Ah...Another Aspiring Duelist is activated when you first create an avatar. Go to the Armory and buy some armor, and then equip it and return to the quest page.

Welcome to Phyrras! Those sandals look a little ragged. Was it a long journey or did you just walk off the farm? Well, no matter, I assume you are here because you want to be a duelist? Of course, rhetorical question. Show me your weapon. Ah, a knife. Serviceable. But I won't send you into the arena without some protection. Go see Smith Dorin and at least get a little armor.

NOTE: Spend your gold wisely. Since you are just starting out make sure you get a piece of armor with a very low Power Rating. You can only equip weapons and armor that have Power Ratings which add up to less than your current Power.
