After dueling Dain, he tells you about this rumor that there is a renegade skeleton roving down by the Phyrran Docks. He paces back and forth under the pier talking to his bird. He has not become a threat to anyone yet mainly because they are too scared to approach him. The attention he is gathering is sure to trigger some sort of conflict. Please go down to the docks and talk to him.

Investigate the Renegade Skeleton You approach the skeleton to talk, when out of the blue the bird starts talking to you.
"Leave us be, before the end comes near." You are unsure what that means, but continue to try to talk to the skeleton. All your attempts are unsuccessful; it seems the only person the skeleton talks to is the bird.
Just as you are about to leave, the bird awakens the skeleton and he runs towards you. It appears that the bird controls the skeleton and wanted you to quit snooping around. It is time to fight!

[edit] Conclusion:
As the skeleton crumbles to the ground, a shiny medallion rolls out from the pile of the bones. You reach over to pick it up as the bird flies away. You wonder who the medallion belongs to and if there is any story to its existence. You place it in your pocket and hope to reveal its mystery someday.
